MEDIA ADVISORY: MU students to complete weekend service trips across central Missouri

March 11, 2021 Contact: Stephanie Fleming, 573-882-8353, sfleming@missouri.edu WHAT: More than 120 University of Missouri students will be serving local communities and organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, City of Refuge and Ronald McDonald House, as part of a Mizzou Alternative Break (MAB) Spring Weekend Service Experience. Nineteen student-led groups will be volunteering throughout Columbia and in surrounding communities completing projects such as removing invasive species, painting and preparing food for charities.
