Professor Tim Wolf was recently named to the American Occupational Therapy Foundation’s (AOTF) Academy of Research. Wolf is the associate dean for research in the University of Missouri School of Health Professions and chair of the occupational therapy department. He currently serves as editor in chief of AOTF's peer-reviewed journal: OTJR: Occupation, Participation, and Health, one of the top journals in the field.

Wolf’s research focuses on identifying and managing cognitive changes to improve participation after neurological injury; and investigating the efficacy of self-management education and cognitive-strategy training interventions to improve health and participation outcomes after neurological injury.

Founded in 1965, the AOTF supports occupational therapy research — and public understanding of the important relationship between everyday activities and health — through grants, scholarships, programs and publications.
