CAFNR academic advisor honored with Advisor of the Year Award

Jenna Fusinatto in the University of Missouri’s College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources has been selected by the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) as the 2025-2026 Laura Taddeucci Downs Advisor of the year.

Fusinatto is an academic advisor for the parks, recreation, sport and tourism program, advising around 400 students.

Each academic year, NSCS recognizes one outstanding advisor with the award, which honors contributions as an exceptional leader. As a recipient of the award, Fusinatto will receive a professional stipend and invitation to attend the organization’s national annual member conference.

NSCS is an honors organization recognized at nearly 300 campuses nationwide.
