Undergraduate and graduate students, along with postdoctoral fellows, presented works at Show Me Research Week.


Students presented on a variety of topics including attention deficit disorder and muscle strength.

Presenters discussed research techniques and methods in addition to outlining their conclusions.


Several projects focused on the health and well-being of infants, children and adults.

This project focused on comparing the cells of heifers and Holstein cows.


Researchers had the opportunity to share their works with fellow students, as well as faculty, staff and community members.

This research considered the effects of homelessness and poverty among the native population in Hawaii.



Several studies looked at proteins, including protein degradation and protein prediction models.


Some student researchers took a scientific approach to happiness.


Students researched various aspects of health sciences.


Researchers considered impacts of family and social relationships.

One researcher brought in Spot, the robot dog from Boston Dynamics, to demonstrate his work in programming.
