University of Missouri Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Angela King Taylor, Ph.D, has appointed Michelle Froese as dean of students for the Division of Student Affairs.
Since July 2023, Froese has served as interim dean of students, previously serving as the associate dean of students, overseeing the Care Team and Office of Student Accountability and Support. During this time, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership — supporting student leadership opportunities through her collaboration with Novak Leadership Institute, her role in teaching the Chancellor’s Leadership Class and expanding the Care Team to include a basic needs coordinator to better support students.
“Dr. Froese has been instrumental throughout her time in the division, consistently centering the student experience and student success in every role she has held,” King Taylor said. “I am confident that with her continued leadership, the dean of students office, and the services and support it provides to Mizzou students and families, will continue to thrive.”
