Paulina Brouder, director of study abroad and international partnerships for International Programs at the University of Missouri, received a Volunteer of the Year award at the 2025 Institute for the International Education of Students Abroad Annual Conference in Vienna, Austria.

Brouder was recognized for her work expanding the reach of study and internship abroad programs at Mizzou and for serving on the IES Abroad Conference Planning Committee.

“Being honored with this award reinforces my commitment to global learning and cross-cultural collaboration,” Brouder said. “Through our collaboration with IES, Mizzou has expanded study abroad participation by offering a wide range of opportunities, including semester, short-term, faculty-led and internship programs.”

Brouder was one of four individuals recognized for their advancement of study abroad at the conference. IES Abroad is a not-for-profit study and internship abroad provider that partners with over 275 schools across the U.S., including Mizzou, to offer students global experiences in more than 30 cities around the world.
