Hidden in plain sight, the University of Missouri Botanic Garden weaves beauty and purpose into every step across campus. For more than 25 years, this living landmark has been more than just a picturesque backdrop — it’s a hub of research, education and quiet reflection.
Now, Missouri artist Jenny McGee brings its story to life through art.
Her stunning, hand-crafted designs — inspired by native blooms, majestic trees and the transformational magic of monarch butterflies — are the heart of a new collection at The Mizzou Store. From totes and tees to magnets and notecards, each piece is infused with the textures, colors and spirit of the garden.
The Mizzou Store is hosting a launch event between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 29. Meet McGee in person, explore the new collection and take home your own piece of Mizzou’s natural legacy. The collection will also be available for purchase online starting Friday, May 30.
A portion of every purchase supports the garden that inspired it all.
Celebrate the art of nature — and the nature of art.
