Ashley Mitchell, the assistant director for student support services, recently received the College Information and Visitor Services Association (CIVSA) Individual Achievement Award.

This award recognizes a collegiate information and visitor services professional for significant achievement at their institution. Mitchell has worked at the University of Missouri for 16 years. She was nominated by CIVSA President Julee Mitsler.

“Ashley has made a profound impact on the University of Missouri's events,” Mitsler said. “Her highly-refined attention to detail has enhanced every element of the events, which has promoted MU in a meaningful way that the institution can take great pride in.”

Mary Ann Rotert, director of Mizzou’s enrollment management marketing and communications added: “Anyone who has planned an event — big or small — knows there is much, much more to it than meets the eye. Ashley's style and attention to detail make her a natural at event planning, and we’re so fortunate to have her at Mizzou. She has been a part of hundreds of successful events at MU over the years, and those events are a big reason why prospective Tigers choose Mizzou.”
