The 22nd annual Chancellor’s Arts Showcase took place Friday, Feb. 25, at the Missouri Theatre. The signature event, hosted by the College of Arts and Science, featured works from more than 100 University of Missouri students, faculty and alumni representing the disciplines of architectural studies, music, visual studies, textile and apparel management, and theatre.
The origins of the celebration date back to 1977 when then-Chancellor Herbert Schooling sponsored events showcasing performances by Mizzou students. Today, University of Missouri President Mun Choi keeps the tradition alive by inviting the public to experiences Mizzou art in all its forms. See photos from the event.
