Laura Zangori, an associate professor in the University of Missouri College of Education and Human Development, was recently selected to receive the 2022 Early Career Award from the National Association for Research in Science. Zangori is being honored for demonstrating outstanding potential to make and contribute to the continuation of excellent educational research. She will be recognized at the 2022 Annual International Conference this spring.
Zangori teaches and works with students and teachers from elementary through undergraduate classrooms. Her work focuses on how to support teachers and students’ in constructing scientific explanations to understand biological phenomena.
