University of Missouri School of Law Professor Erica Lietzan was recently named a 2022 Best Lawyer in America for her high caliber work in Biotechnology and Life Sciences Practices, as well as FDA law. Inclusion in Best Lawyers is based on a rigorous peer-review survey comprising more than 12.2 million confidential evaluations by top attorneys.
Lietzan’s scholarship focuses on the intersection of administrative law and intellectual property law as they relate to medical products. Before joining the MU School of Law in 2014, Lietzan practiced before the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for nearly two decades.
