Mansoo Yu, professor of social work and public health in the School of Health Professions, has been appointed associate editor of the Journal of the Society for Social Work and Research (JSSWR). The journal is published by the Society for Social Work and Research, which is the premier social work research professional community.
Yu’s research has been focused on health disparities and the interconnections of mental health, physical health and health risk behavior. His goal is to generate scientific evidence that practitioners in the field can use to better meet the needs of their clients.
