Kyle Bals, a senior at the University of Missouri majoring in geography, was recently named the new Jesse H. Wheeler Student Ambassador.
As the Wheeler Ambassador, Bals will help recruit new students to the geography program, promote geography classes, manage and promote department events and more.
Bals said he’s most excited about taking students on building tours, getting to know the students, learning about their career aspirations and possibly giving them advice on classes and other areas of academia.
