Black and Gold Fridays are back, giving Tigers everywhere a reason to show their stripes and turn Fridays into celebrations of University of Missouri pride.
This annual tradition kicks off Sept. 4 and continues every Friday throughout the football season. Joining is easy: Wear your favorite black and gold attire wherever the day takes you.
Need to update your wardrobe? Beginning Sept. 18, the Mizzou Store will offer 25% off select merchandise each Friday before Saturday home football games.
Wearing black and gold is just the beginning. Here are more ways to put your Tiger pride on display.
Bring Mizzou into your workplace
Add a touch of black and gold to your office. A Mizzou mug, desk flag or Zoom background is all it takes.
Fire up the grill
Game days and good food are a natural pairing. Whether you’re tailgating outside Memorial Stadium or gathering with friends at home, explore Mizzou-inspired recipes and add a little Tiger spirit to your day.
Don’t forget your four-legged friends
Tiger pride isn’t limited to humans. Bandanas, jerseys and collars are easy ways to help your pets show their Mizzou pride, too.
Wear your pride everywhere
Sometimes the smallest accessories can make the biggest statement. A lapel pin, tote bag, water bottle sticker or favorite Mizzou hat can create an instant connection. Sharing your spirit online? Search “Mizzou” in Instagram Stories for themed stickers and graphics.
Share your Mizzou story
For many future Tigers, the journey to Mizzou starts with a conversation. Tell a student why you chose Mizzou and how that impacts you today.
Stay connected all year
Tiger pride doesn’t end when football season does. The Mizzou Alumni Association helps Tigers stay engaged through events, networking opportunities, MIZZOU Magazine, member benefits and discounts at The Mizzou Store.
