Mizzou Alumni Association announces 2025 Gold Standard Awards

The University of Missouri recognizes remarkable Tigers whose dedication, service and leadership have left a lasting mark.

The University of Missouri has a powerful network of leaders, innovators and changemakers whose impact reaches far beyond campus. 

The Mizzou Alumni Association’s Gold Standard Awards recognize those remarkable alumni, faculty, friends and families whose dedication, service and leadership have left a lasting mark on Mizzou — and the world.

Each honoree reflects the very best of the Tiger spirit, living out Mizzou’s core values of respect, responsibility, discovery and excellence in everything they do.

Distinguished Alumni Award 

Established in 1956, this award honors outstanding service by individuals whose sustained efforts and support have added to Mizzou’s excellence and whose contributions have brought distinction not only to themselves but also to Mizzou.

Distinguished Faculty Award

Established in 1960, this award honors outstanding members of the Mizzou faculty whose continued achievements have brought distinction to themselves and the university. It is awarded based on the faculty members’ accomplishments and their dedication to students.

Distinguished Volunteer Award 

This award honors a Tiger who has demonstrated at least 10 years of continuous and exemplary service, dedication and loyalty to the Mizzou Alumni Association through local chapter, organization or general association involvement.

Honorary Alumnus Award

This award recognizes an exceptional individual who’s not a Mizzou graduate but has demonstrated a deep and lasting commitment to Mizzou.

This award honors a family for making an outstanding impact on Mizzou over multiple generations of Tigers.

This award honors a member of the MizzouMade Business Network that exemplifies the values of the Mizzou Alumni Association and the university. The business must be at least five years old and have a Mizzou alumnus in a leadership role.
