Jose named to World Agriculture Forum Global Council

Shibu Jose, associate dean of research and director of the Missouri Agricultural Experiment Station in the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri, has been named a member of the Global Council of the World Agriculture Forum (WAF).

Based in the Netherlands, WAF envisions a transformative future for global agriculture — one defined by boundless innovation, dynamic growth, unparalleled productivity and unwavering sustainability. The organization aims to serve as a dynamic platform connecting regional and global partners to enhance trade, foster cooperation and equip farmers with advanced skills and technologies. Through these efforts, WAF seeks to boost productivity and expand market access while driving high-tech, value-added agricultural solutions to meet the world’s evolving challenges.
