Southeastern Conference recognizes student-athletes, faculty and staff

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) has recognized numerous University of Missouri student-athletes, faculty and staff for their contributions in class and in athletic competitions during the past 12 months.

In the classroom, Jay Sexton, director of the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy, was named Mizzou’s recipient of the SEC 2024 Faculty Achievement Award. The recognition is given annually to one professor from each university within the SEC.

The following Mizzou student-athletes and head coaches also were honored (undergraduate major noted in parenthesis).
