The University of Missouri’s Museum of Art and Archeology brings the world to mid-Missouri, showcasing a diverse range of more than 16,000 fascinating artifacts. From ancient sculptures weighing 2,000 pounds to delicate pieces of jewelry, the museum’s collection isa window into the world’s history and cultures. Now located in the lower level of Ellis Library, the museum serves as a vibrant hub for exploration and education, offering hands-on resources for faculty and students, while also welcoming the broader community — including area schools and visitors — to engage with the art and history on display in the museum’s four galleries.
