The University of Missouri prides itself on being home to 2,500 world-class faculty who further the excellence and traditions of Mizzou. In recognition and celebration of their championing spirit and contributions — both on campus and beyond — Mizzou established Faculty Excellence Week.
To mark the start of the third annual week-long celebration, President Mun Choi, Interim Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Matthew Martens and the MU Faculty Council hosted a kickoff. All Mizzou faculty were invited for food trucks, camaraderie, a performance by Marching Mizzou and various photo opportunities with the nation's best mascot, Truman the Tiger!
