At the University of Missouri, safety is the No. 1 priority. Campus officials work to ensure that by regularly testing the campuswide emergency alert system.

A test will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4.

During the emergency test, the following will happen:

  • Text message alerts will be sent to students, faculty, staff and others who have elected to receive warnings by text. Messages will indicate that the notifications are a test.
  • A mass alert email will be sent to all university email accounts.

Employees who do not receive a text or email as part of this test should contact the IT Help Desk at 573-882-5000. Faculty, staff, students and the public can opt in for emergency alerts by visiting mualert.missouri.edu.
