Dozens of community members and first responders gathered in Jesse Hall on Sunday, Sept. 11, to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11. The ceremony included a wreath processional, presentation of the colors by the Joint Services Color Guard and City Honor Guards, and music performed by the Boone County Fire Protection District Pipes & Drums group and University of Missouri School of Music representatives. University of Missouri President Mun Choi and Columbia Mayor Barbara Buffaloe gave remarks, followed by a performance of taps. See photos from the event.
