As you prepare for the new semester, you might have questions about what technology you need, where to buy it, how to connect to the University of Missouri network and more. Enter TigerTech: Mizzou’s one-stop shop for campus technology solutions.

Located in the lower level of the Mizzou Store, TigerTech and its team of technicians help keep you connected — whether you’re on campus, enrolled in online courses or working remotely.

Here are five things you need to know about their services.

1. TigerTech offers two main categories of service: Sales and support.

If you’re looking to purchase a laptop or electronic device, the TigerTech sales floor is the place for you.

If you have questions about technology you already own — including how to connect to Mizzou accounts, install software and printers — the TigerTech Service Desk (located toward the back of TigerTech) is where you want to go.

2. The team can help you find the right equipment for your individual needs.

TigerTech is a certified Apple and Dell retailer, and its team members are ready to help faculty, staff and students find the right technology suited for their major and individual needs. In addition to selling laptops and electronic devices, the team can also help you select warranty plans, accessories and more. Support is available from 9–5 p.m. during regular Mizzou Store hours.

3. Discounts and financing are available.

TigerTech offers competitive pricing and educational discounts for all students. Computer purchasing plans are available to eligible students — meaning you can spread out the cost of a new laptop over the course of a school year.

4. You can get your devices set up and repaired without having to leave campus.

You’ve got new equipment, now what? Stop by the Tech Support Service Desk for help with software installation, connecting to the Mizzou network, setting up email and more.

If your device ever needs repairs, the Tech Support Service Desk is a certified Apple and Dell repair center — meaning technicians can help troubleshoot many devices without the hassle of you leaving campus.

5. Help is available 24/7 — regardless of your physical location.

Whether you’re having trouble connecting to TigerWifi or logging in to your campus accounts, support is available round-the-clock — and in any physical location — by using the live chat feature online at doit.missouri.edu, calling the help desk at 573-882-5000 or visiting help.missouri.edu.
