Talissa Altes, a pediatric radiologist and chair of radiology at University of Missouri, recently received the Distinguished Investigator Award from the Academy for Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Research.
This honor recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of medical imaging. Altes is the first nominee from MU.
“It’s nice to be recognized as a thought leader in radiology and to be someone they want to have at the table,” Altes said. “It’s an honor in our field, and I’m excited to join this council that helps shape the future of radiology and patient care.”
