Reginald Rogers, an associate professor at the University of Missouri College of Engineering, recently received a national award for his commitment and passion for helping students succeed. The National Organization for the Professional Advancement of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers will honor Rogers with the 2021 Mentor on the Map Award at its annual conference in September.
“This award means a lot really because it’s a cumulation of everything I do, whether it’s working with students in the classroom or in the research lab or in the office, where they come in to see me when they need advice,” Rogers said.
