Note: This clinic offers car-side flu shots to adults and children 6 months and older. It is open to everyone in the community, including MU faculty and staff. Students can get their flu shots for no charge at the on-campus flu shot clinics detailed above. The student health fee does not cover the cost of flu shots given to students at the clinics below. The COVID-19 vaccine will not be offered at these events.

University of Missouri System-sponsored clinics

The university is holding on-campus flu shot clinics, which are available by appointment only. Faculty, staff, dependents (children 7 years and older accompanied by a parent or guardian) and retirees enrolled in a UM medical plan are eligible to receive a covered vaccination. You can register for flu shot appointment(s) online. The registration tool will allow you to review several locations and times and select the one that will work best for you. A confirmation email will be sent for each appointment you schedule. The COVID-19 vaccine will not be offered at these events.

To get ready for your appointment:

  • Complete the consent form attached to your confirmation email ahead of time and bring it with you. This will speed up the process.
  • Bring your employee ID (if applicable), your insurance card and your appointment confirmation email (printed or digital).
  • We ask that you wear a mask while receiving your flu shot and while waiting in the vaccination area before or after receiving your shot.
  • Arrive no more than five minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will help us keep vaccination spaces distanced.
  • Review the Vaccine Information Sheet prior to your appointment.

There are other ways to protect against cold and flu season:

  • Cough and sneeze into your elbow.
  • Wash and sanitize your hands often, especially after using computer labs and other equipment meant for public use.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  • Refrain from sharing food, drinks and cell phones.
