Jeff Adams, a May 2021 physical therapy graduate from the School of Health Professions, recently received the Outstanding Student Award from the Missouri chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
The APTA is an individual membership professional organization representing 100,000-member physical therapists, physical therapist assistants and students of physical therapy. It awards one outstanding student per year.
“Jeff has passionately served his community, demonstrating a strong commitment to service across the lifespan,” one nomination read.
“I believe Jeff Adams is one of our department and university’s great assets,” another nomination read. “He is not only an outstanding scholar and physical therapist, but most importantly, an exceptional person.”
