Wreath-laying ceremony honors veterans

Ceremony pays tribute to MU community members who gave their lives in service of their country.

The University of Missouri's Memorial Union holds a special meaning for student veterans. It honors the 117 Mizzou alumni who lost their lives in World War I. Additionally, a plaque in the building lists the names of 338 MU service members who died in World War II.

For Veterans Day 2020, a wreath was placed under the Memorial Union tower to honor MU’s students, faculty and staff who gave their lives in service of their country.
