The Missouri School of Journalism celebrated its Sept. 14 Founder’s Day and 112 years of excellence by establishing a new fund to support the professional newsrooms and agencies that are the hallmark of the Missouri Method.
“We have all experienced a year unlike any other, and our school has had to innovate to keep students, faculty and staff safe while continuing the essential work of training students and serving communities,” said Dean David Kurpius. “Founder’s Day is a great opportunity to celebrate the investment and engagement from countless alumni and friends that have sustained us this year and since we opened our doors in 1908.”
