The award recognizes Professor Uphoff’s work with the MU Law Innocence Clinic, which partners with the Midwest Innocence Project to fight for the release of individuals who have been wrongfully convicted and sentenced. He will be honored during the Midwest Innocence Project virtual gala on July 30, 2020.
