As Tiger fans look forward to Saturday’s football season opener against Alabama, Mizzou Athletics is also making preparations, following local, state and federal safety guidelines for all 2020 home games. Mizzou also has shared information about COVID-19 mitigation efforts with attendees.

A reminder: Tailgating will be prohibited on university-owned property, including parking lots and grassy areas adjacent to parking lots. Fans may not bring nor set up items normally associated with a tailgate such as lawn chairs, coolers, grills, tents, canopies, tables.

Fans who are not attending the game can find ways to celebrate Mizzou football at home on the #ZouToYou website. Go, Tigers!

Total stadium capacity for the games is estimated to be in the range of 20% to 25%. Guests are encouraged to maintain physical distancing of at least 6 feet between individuals and should not linger for more than 15 minutes.
Seats with backs have been placed to allow social distancing.
All spectators should enter and exit through their assigned zone, which will be communicated in advance of game day. Zones are color-coded and supplemented with temporary signage and pre-game communications. The assigned zone will include its own entry and exit, concession stands and restrooms.
Interior and exterior signage has been placed throughout Memorial Stadium to display spectator zones, encourage physical distancing of 6 feet, remind guests to wear face coverings and direct one-way traffic patterns to eliminate crossover when feasible.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the concourse at Faurot Field. Guests are encouraged to wash their hands with soap and water and use hand sanitizer frequently.
Enhanced disinfecting practices are being implemented in common areas, high contact surfaces and restrooms.
Additional barriers have been added to help prevent the spread of germs.
All premium areas will abide by physical distancing guidelines. Loge boxes have been partitioned with barriers from adjacent areas.
