Elizabeth Parks, a professor in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, has been elected to begin a four-year leadership path in The Obesity Society (TOS). In 2022, she will be the 40th president of this professional organization.
Established in 1982, TOS is the leading professional organization focused on the science-based understanding of the causes, consequences, prevention and treatment of obesity. It has approximately 2,500 members located throughout the globe.
