MU’s international community and student body celebrated the beginning of the spring 2016 semester with a party on the first floor of the Student Center Feb. 6. An International Student Welcome event is held each semester to help new students get to know — and share their culture with — international and American classmates. In fall 2015 Mizzou welcomed a record 2,990 international students to Mizzou, with the largest number coming from China.
