Tiger Line runs daily during the fall semester.

Students looking to do some extra shopping have a new Tiger Line route to check out. The evening line loops to Columbia Mall as well as other shopping and entertainment venues in the Broadway and Stadium Drive area. It is called the 406 West Loop and runs every 60 minutes 6 p.m.–1:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and 12 p.m.–1:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. It departs from the MU Student Center on Rollins Street. Regular hours begin Aug. 24.

Also, a new day route will take MU community members to Mizzou North every 30 minutes. The 404 Mizzou North Loop will operate 7 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Friday and depart from Tiger Plaza with a stop on 6th St. near Lafferre Hall.

The routes are possible due to Residential Life’s no longer needing Tiger Line service to an off-campus housing site. “We repurposed the old route to serve both Mizzou North in the daytime and the shopping venues in the evening,” said Michael Sokoff, director of Parking & Transportation Services.

Tiger Line is run through a service contract between the University of Missouri and the city of Columbia and paid for by student fees. Students have unlimited access. Friends and family can ride with MU students at no additional fee.
