For the media
Show Me Mizzou stories are similar to a press release. Text, quotes, videos and photos are available for use in media reports, unless they are stock photos or are otherwise noted. Contact newsandinfo@missouri.edu to request original photos or videos.
The Public Affairs and News and Information teams are the official sources of university information for the public and the media.
Public Affairs staff members serve as official institutional spokespersons and also assist students, faculty and staff who have information to disseminate about the university or who are approached by reporters. In this role, the Public Affairs reflects the administration’s philosophy that public, land-grant universities have an obligation to keep the public informed about services, activities and resources available to them, and to respond to questions or concerns.
Members of the media can contact the News and Information team for further information on media releases or interviews with faculty experts.
