Spring break is almost here, and for University of Missouri students, March 21–29 offers a much-needed pause from classes, exams and late-night study sessions.

Whether you’re packing a suitcase for a getaway or staying in Columbia for a quieter week on campus, spring break brings plenty of opportunities to recharge.

Here are some ways to make the most of your time off.

If you’re leaving town, take a few safety precautions.

  • Make sure your windows are closed.
  • Make sure your doors are locked.
  • Secure your belongings.
  • Unplug electronics.

Staying on campus over break? While most offices will remain open, some may operate on adjusted schedules. Before heading somewhere on campus, it’s a good idea to call ahead or check online for updated hours. Scroll down to see how campus services may be impacted.
