University of Missouri President Mun Choi and the campus community recently gathered to remember and celebrate the lives of Mizzou's students, faculty and staff who passed away between March 2025 and March 2026.
"At MU Remembers, we commemorate the lives of students, faculty and staff who each made a lasting impact,” President Choi said. "Their loss is felt by our entire community, and we are honored to share their memory and many contributions to Mizzou.”
During the ceremony, the Switzler Hall bell tolled after each name was read, campus flags were flown at half-staff for the day, and the Jesse Hall dome was darkened through the night.
