Educating future leaders

The University of Missouri harnesses the power of world-class researchers, award-winning faculty and cutting-edge facilities to ensure students are prepared to be well-rounded leaders when they graduate. When Tigers walk the stage at commencement, they’re entering the workforce eager to put into action all they’ve learned here.

Missouri Method

Learning by doing is at the heart of everything we do at Mizzou; we call it the Missouri Method. Students thrive when given the opportunity to learn by doing, and Mizzou’s curriculum prioritizes hands-on experiences.

Student life

Student life at Mizzou is built on connection. From shared traditions to everyday moments across campus, these experiences bring students together to strengthen our community.

Around campus

Campus looked stunning in 2025. A snowy start to the year led to a spring full of pastels, and a sunny summer resulted in rich autumnal reds, oranges and — most importantly — golds. No matter the season, Mizzou students, faculty and staff hosted an array of exciting activities, cultural experiences and student events that promoted learning and community.

Improving lives

Mizzou takes its land-grant mission seriously. The university’s impact is felt beyond the classroom; it’s felt in the numerous ways we help improve lives through our hospitals and health care facilities, research labs, legal clinics and farms, to name just a few. Tigers of all stripes — students, faculty, staff and alumni — are innovating to build a better, more sustainable world.
