It’s time to wear your University of Missouri love on your sleeves.
Starting Sept. 5, we’re turning every Friday into a celebration of Tiger pride. Whether you’re an alum, student, fan or friend, Black and Gold Fridays are your opportunity to represent Mizzou in style, wherever you are.
Participating is simple. Wear black and gold, show your Mizzou spirit and share the pride.
And here’s a bonus: The Mizzou Store will offer 25% off select merchandise every Friday before all Saturday home football games.
You can also get a head start by participating in College Colors Day, a national celebration on Aug. 29.
Wearing black and gold is just the beginning. Here are some other fun, creative and meaningful ways to show you’re a Tiger through and through.
Add Mizzou to your workplace
Bring your Mizzou spirit to the office with Mizzou-themed décor or a virtual background.
Host a Mizzou-themed meal
Celebrate game day with a meal — think “Jayhawk wings” (Mort’s chicken tenders) during the Kansas game on Sept. 6 or our “Go Tigers Guacamole” to root on Mizzou during the Auburn game on Oct. 18. Get inspired by our top tailgating recipes to heat up the rivalry.
Dress up your pets
Tiger pride is even cuter on four legs. Outfit your furry friends in Mizzou bandanas, collars or tiny jerseys — because fandom is a family affair.
Accessorize
Subtle statements count, too. Sport a Mizzou-themed button or add a Mizzou sticker to your water bottle. Share your pride on social media by accessing the sticker icon in Instagram Stories. Type in “Mizzou” for a Black and Gold Fridays touch on your post.
Support a local Tiger
Know someone who’s college-bound? Recommend Mizzou, where they’ll get a high-quality education that combines classroom studies with real-world experience. Or, if you already know a student, wear black and gold in their honor.
Take a class in your county
Mizzou isn’t just a physical campus, it’s a statewide resource. Explore University of Missouri Extension classes available in your county and take advantage of the resources offered through our land grant mission.
Share a Mizzou story
Post a Show Me Mizzou story on social media to inspire others. Whether it’s about a standout student, impactful research or alumni making a difference, these stories help tell ours.
Join the Mizzou Alumni Association
