It was an eventful fall at Mizzou and a joy to see and hear from so many of our members and alumni during the best stretch of the year. We even made a little history together by hosting our earliest ever Homecoming celebration, a milestone that carries real weight at a place where the tradition runs deep. A sincere thank you to the many student organizations, especially our Greek chapters, for adjusting their timelines and making late September vibrate with peak Mizzou energy.
This season also marked the public launch of the Power the Roar campaign, where we unveiled a bold $2 billion vision for the university’s next chapter. Alumni support is central to that work, and the McHaney brothers’ story captures the impact of that commitment with unusual clarity. Theirs is an extraordinary legacy built through persistence, generosity and belief in the power of education.
In the coming months, we’ll be inviting you to engage even more as we move our campaign forward. More than 2,000 alumni and friends already have joined our new Mizzou Ambassadors program, in which they share their time and expertise in ways that strengthen the university daily. Many of you likely have received a message from me about the Alumni Directory project, which we sponsor every five years to ensure we maintain the most accurate and updated information about our community. Thank you to everyone who has already taken a moment to verify your details.
As we close out 2025 with strength, I’m excited to see what the Mizzou community will accomplish in 2026. Thank you for your membership, your engagement and your steadfast support. MIZ!
