The Call can come in many forms:
Storefronts dressed in black and gold,
Memories shared outside the dorms,
But most of all, the stories told.

Near or far it still remains
That love for Old Mizzou
It’s an unending refrain
That lives inside of you

You heard The Call, you’ve made it Home
A familiar feeling in your chest
That first glimpse of Jesse's dome
Proves you've arrived at the First and Finest

Walking the same streets, though time’s gone by
Greeting old friends, an M-I-Z shout!
A happy Z-O-U! reply
This is what it’s all about

Talent show skits, midnight pomping
The legacy of Chester Brewer
And historic kU stompings
Your Mizzou love has never rung truer.

Your favorite place, your mood enhancer
A tradition that defines your Autumns
Your return to Mizzou to answer
The Call of the Columns
