The Interdisciplinary Plant Group (IPG) is a community of scholars at the University of Missouri (faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students and staff) that collaborate to promote excellence in plant research at MU. The IPG Community Award was recently presented to Linda Blockus, Sarah Humfeld and Heather Tearney by the IPG executive committee. The award is to acknowledge and thank them for all of their tremendous efforts to help mentor and promote research experiences for undergraduate students working in IPG labs. Additionally, the award recognizes their incredible leadership and support of the Freshman Research in Plants and Bringing Plant Science and Engineering Together programs.
