October hits just right for Mizzou’s Homecoming. Students have settled into their classes and routines, and finals are still six weeks away. It’s the ideal moment to dive into Tiger spirit, reunite with old friends and forge new memories. In this gallery culled from old Savitar yearbooks, we explore past Mizzou Homecomings, a dynamic highlight of the fall semester for more than a century.

1960: Tiger fans eat at Romp, Chomp and Stomp on Homecoming Weekend. The Tigers, ranked No. 1 in the nation, lose to the Kansas Jayhawks 23–7, a result later overturned due to the Jayhawks playing an ineligible player.
