Create a thank you card to send to a veteran. The cards will be hand delivered by student veterans to patients at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans' Hospital. All supplies will be provided.

MU Joint ROTC Veterans Day Vigil

Boone County Courthouse, 705 E. Walnut Street
Cadets and midshipmen from the ROTC units at MU will form a detail and perform a vigil near the war memorials at the Boone County Courthouse. There will be a detail marching every hour Nov. 9-10, followed by a brief ceremony then march from the Courthouse Plaza to Memorial Union for the 3 p.m. Wreath-Laying Ceremony.

Listen to and participate in a panel discussion where current military and student veterans discuss their service as well as their personal transitions to higher education.
Mizzou Law Veterans Clinic open house

The campus community, and especially veterans, is invited to learn more about how the Mizzou Law Veterans Clinic helps veterans navigate United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) benefits issues.
Veterans Day wreath-laying ceremony
3 p.m. Nov. 10
Outside Memorial Union
Shortly after the tower was completed at Memorial Union in 1926, seniors at the university initiated a commencement exercise placing a wreath on the archway’s floor in memory of the fallen Tigers. Each Veterans Day, the tradition continues by laying a wreath in the archway to remember and honor the brave Missouri men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Immediately following the wreath-laying ceremony, guests are welcome to visit the MU Veterans Center for a quick tour and light refreshments.
