WHAT: Nine teams of University of Missouri (MU) students participating in this year’s Entrepreneur Quest (EQ) competition could soon be one step closer to bringing their business startup dreams to reality. Much like on the television series Shark Tank, each student team will have up to six minutes to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. The judges will then select the top three teams as winners, with $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 awarded to their respective ventures. The cash prizes are provided through the generosity of employees at Veterans United Home Loans.
EQ is a program offered by the Griggs Innovators Nexus at MU.
