WHAT:
University of Missouri officials will host a grand opening of a new Esports Gaming Lounge in Center Hall. The 2,200-square-foot gaming lounge and studio has 19 MSI gaming systems and provides any gamer on campus with a safe and comfortable place to play games, meet other students with similar interests, find hands-on learning opportunities within the Mizzou Esports program, and unwind in a space that few college campuses have.
The lounge is open for MU students from 4-10 p.m. on weekdays and noon to 6 p.m. on weekends.
This new space will soon be open to the public on weekends and is available for private rentals for watch parties, events and camps.
