The University of Missouri will host Show Me Research Week April 17-21. A collaboration between the Bond Life Sciences Center and the Office of Undergraduate Research, the week celebrates student and postdoctoral research and creative activity with more than 450 MU students showcasing their work.

Research Forum
When: 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m., April 18-19; 9 a.m.-noon, April 20
Where: Memorial Union
As part of the Spring Research and Creative Achievements Forum, more than 440 undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows will present their research and creative activity.
Artificial Intelligence Hackathon
When: 3-6 p.m., April 17 & 20
Where: 133 Mumford Hall
The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hackathon provides a platform for MU students to showcase their skills in developing AI applications for solving real-world problems. Organized by the Graduate Student Organization of the Institute for Data Science and Informatics, the hackathon’s theme is “AI for social good.”
Humanities Symposium - Student Presentations
When: 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., April 20
Where: S203 Memorial Union
At this special focus event, students whose research and creative activity explore the concept of surveillance and the self will present their work.
Ed Yong topical lecture on “The Art of Science Journalism”
When: 7 p.m., April 20
Where: Middlebush Hall, Walter Johnson Auditorium
Pulitzer Prize-winning author of two New York Times bestselling books and a writer for The Atlantic, Ed Yong, will present on the topic “The Art of Science Journalism.”
Show Me Research Awards Ceremony
When: 3-4 p.m., April 21
Where: Bond Life Sciences Center, Monsanto Auditorium
Come celebrate the people who make Mizzou a Tier 1 Research Institution.
