WHAT: The University of Missouri is hosting a virtual topping off ceremony to celebrate the placement of the final steel beam atop the NextGen Precision Health Institute. The institute, a cornerstone of the NextGen Precision Health Initiative, is expected to be completed by Oct. 19, 2021.
WHO: Speakers will include:
- Mun Choi, UM System president and interim MU chancellor
- Richard Barohn, MU executive vice chancellor for health affairs and NextGen Precision Health executive scientific director
- Members of the NextGen Advisory Board
- Members of the UM Board of Curators
