Mizzou took on Mississippi State on a rainy Thursday night, Nov. 5, the team's first weeknight football game since 2009. The Tigers kept the game close in the first half, posting a pair of Andrew Baggett field goals after Mississippi State's first touchdown pass of the game. After the Bulldogs (7-2, 3-2 SEC) scored on their ensuing drive, the Tigers scored on a 14-yard rush by Russell Hansbrough to end a four-game long end-zone drought.
Mizzou returns to Kansas City for the first time since 2011 a week from Saturday, when the Tigers host BYU at Arrowhead Stadium with a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.
