It was a hot Labor Day weekend opener, but that didn't slow the Tigers one bit. Mizzou beat Murray State 58-14 in front of more than 58,000 fans at Memorial Stadium. The Tigers put up 694 yards of offense, second most in school history, and the defense shut the Racers out for the final three quarters of the game. Mizzou next plays Saturday, Sept. 7, when the Tigers host Toledo at 2:30 p.m. on ESPNU.
